It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in a colloquium on “The Transforming Landscape of Health Care and Its Implications for Cancer Care: A Dialogue with Stakeholders,” sponsored by Genentech and developed in partnership with Metropolitan Medical Society of Kansas City.
Individuals invited to this program include select thought leaders from managed care organizations, provider organizations, hospital systems, employer benefit managers and medical directors, government and academia in the region. Speakers, panelists and attendees will address national and regional issues relating to the future of systems of care in the US with a focus on oncology.
Presentations by a panel of experts in the field will focus on the potential impact of health reform on health care stakeholders, the oncology value equation, and cancer prevention and control, with a deeper dive into evolving provider and payment models in oncology. The meeting’s point-counterpoint format is designed to invite lively and interactive discussion among the speaker panel and attendees in an informal roundtable environment. Tony Sun, MD, Medical Director, UnitedHealthcare and Chair of the Medical Directors Council will serve as moderator.
