Dear CMSA-KC Fellow Members-

It is with sincere heartfelt gratitude for your calls of support and offerings of help, that I want to say thank you!  The devastation is incomprehensible, even when seeing it in person.  I feel very blessed my family survived this tragic ordeal, and keep prayers and words of hope for those not so fortunate. 

I did want to take a moment and provide clarification of Chriss’ very kind email to you all.  My father’s home was sparred from any damage and they remain in good health to date.  My mother’s and step-father’s home was totally destroyed, as well as both of their cars.  Their restaurant suffered damage also, albeit minimal, and it is still operational to feed the First Responders and others who have lost everything.  

Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and feel truly blessed to have such a supportive and generous network of friends and colleagues.
